The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team is commanded by Inspector Juan Kinley. His team consists of two Sergeants, thirteen Constables, a valuable group of Special Constables and Community Volunteers and a Receptionist/Secretary all providing policing services for the whole of the North of the Island. They cover Maughold, Andreas, Bride, Jurby, Ballaugh, Sulby, Lezayre as well as Ramsey Town. Ramsey is blessed with a low crime rate and this is only due to the close partnership working with local agencies and the Community as a whole.
The emphasis is on service delivery and there is a strong focus on confidence, satisfaction and reassurance, delivered in partnership with key local agencies. Undoubtedly their biggest partner in the North are Ramsey Town Commissioners.
The Police Station is located at the Town Hall, access is from the rear car park, off West Street, or through the Town Hall foyer during library opening hours.
By close working the policing team and Commissioners are dedicated to making the area a safe and enjoyable place to live.
