Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Commission has in place a Covid Escalation Policy which details the manner in which we will respond to any Covid restrictions put in place by IOM Government. The document can be downloaded here.
We will provide updates below should there be any change to the way we deliver our services:
Camper Vans - updated at 3.45pm on 16th April 2021 - The Mooragh Amenity area will be opened again on Monday 19th April 2021. Details on Camper Van Permits can be found here.
Town Hall and Library -updated at 1pm on 16th April 2021 - The public counters, Civil Registry and Library at the Town Hall will be open again on Monday 19th April 2021.
Outside play areas including the Mooragh Park, outside exercise equipment & skate park - updated at 10am on 12th April 2021 - these will be opened today. Users are requested to read the notices adjacent to the entrances of each play area and observe social distancing, public gathering measures and practise good hand, respiratory and environmental hygiene.
NCAS - The NCAS will be opening on Saturday 3rd April 2021. A booking system will be in place with site initially taking household burnable and green waste only, details of how to book can be found here.
NCAS - updated at 2pm on 2nd March 2021 - the NCAS will close at 4.15pm today. We will post an update when the site is operating again.
Bring Back Site - Station Road Car Park - updated at 2pm on 2nd March 2021 The Department of Infrastructure has kept this facility open.
Civil Registry - updated at 9am 1st June 2021 registry services are operating as normal, for enquiries please ring 810100.
Mooragh Park and Coronation Park - updated at 2pm on 2nd March 2021 Public parks remain open. Any sports facilities - such as the tennis courts, exercise equipment - and play equipment are closed.
Public Toilets - updated at 2pm on 2nd March 2021 The facilities at Market Place and Mooragh Park remain open.
Town Hall and Library - update at 2pm on 2nd March 2021 These will be closed to the public from 4.30pm on 2nd March 2021. You can contact the Town Hall via telephone on 810100 or through the contact form on our website.
Updated at 10.30am on 2nd March 2021 - following the announcement from Chief Minister Howard Quayle this morning that a circuit breaker lock down is being implemented at 00.01am on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 we will be implementing our Covid Escalation Plan - this can be downloaded here.
Update at 4.15pm on 29th January 2021 - following the announcement from Chief Minister Howard Quayle this afternoon that the circuit breaker lock down is due to end at 00.01am on Monday 1st February 2021 we wanted to give an update about our services. Subject to the the lock down ending as planned we plan to do the following:
Town Hall & Library - will be open as usual.
Refuse collections - please ensure that your bin is ready for collection from 6am on your usual collection day, but bear in mind that the collection may take place later in the day than normal.
Mooragh Park and Coronation Park - these will be opened up during the day on Monday.
Northern Civic Amenity Site - this will be open as usual with no need to make an advance booking.
NCAS - updated at 4.45pm on 21st January 2021 - the NCAS will open on Monday 25th January 2021 - further details can be found here.
Letter to Households - updated at 5pm on 8th January 2021 We have today commenced delivery of a letter to households in Ramsey. This can be downloaded from here.

Northern Civic Amenity Site - updated at 8.30am on 7th January 2021 The site is currently closed. We will make an announcement when arrangements are in place for it to open.

Civil Registry - updated at 5.30pm on 6th January 2021 We can undertake registrations of Births and Death only. To make an appointment with a registrar please call 810100.

Business Crib Sheet - updated at 5.30pm on 6th January 2021 Isle of Man Government have published the Business Crib Sheet which can be downloaded from here.
Domestic Refuse Collections - updated at 11am on 6th January 2021 Collections will carry on as normal. Bins should be at the kerbside by 6am on your normal collection day with the bin lid firmly closed and handles facing outwards. If you are able please regularly sanitize the handles before and after collection to protect yourselves and our bin crew.
Commercial Refuse Collections - updated at 11.00am on 6th January 2021 If you wish to make a change to your commercial refuse collection during the period of the current lockdown please contact us on 810100.
Ramsey Town Hall and Library - updated at 6.45pm on 5th January 2021 Please note that with immediate effect the Town Hall and Library will be closed to the public. You can continue to contact us on the telephone (810100) or by using the contact form on our website.
Update at 5.30pm 5th January 2021 - we will be making changes to our services following the announcement of a 21 day lockdown by Chief Minister Howard Quayle this afternoon. These changes will be in accordance with our Covid Escalation Plan which can be viewed here. We will keep this page updated.
