Northern Civic Amenity Site to remain open after April 1

The Isle of Man Government will resume control of the Northern Civic Amenity Site and ensure it remains operational for the next year. The Department of Infrastructure will take over the facility from the NCAS Committee and - subject to final contract - Ramsey Town Commissioners will operate the site on its behalf from 1 April 2025.  Infrastructure Minister Dr Michelle Haywood MHK said: ‘As far as NCAS users are concerned I am confident that today’s announcement means the north will continue ...

August Meeting of Ramsey Town Commissioners Postponed

The meeting of Ramsey Town Commissioners scheduled for 7pm this evening Wednesday 21st August has been postponed. This has been necessary due to there being a number of absences which meant that the meeting would not be quorate. The rescheduled meeting will take place on Tuesday 3rd September 2024
