Ramsey Town Commissioners are thrilled to announce the launch of its annual Ramsey in Bloom Competition.
The Ramsey in Bloom 2025 Competition is officially in bloom!! We want YOU to show off you stunning gardens, creative containers and floral masterpieces!
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a passionate newbie – this is your time to shine!
The Ramsey in Bloom Competition celebrates creativity, community spirit and a love for nature - welcoming entries in categories ranging from Little Gems to best Community Project. Whether it’s a creative container, a pollinator paradise or a perfectly pruned garden, we’ve got a category for you, and we WANT to hear to from you.
The Competition Categories are as follows:
Public Buildings, Commercial Premises (small and large), Private Gardens (small and large), Little Gems, Community Project, Wildlife Garden, Special Prizes for best containerised plants, special feature, special effort, best newcomer, and best hanging baskets.
For the young gardeners out there, the Felton's Challenge Competition this year is "Grow Your Own Poppy".
This year's initiative is designed to encourage young gardeners to get their hands dirty and experience the magic of growing something from seed to bloom.
The children's poppy-growing activity not only nurtures a passion for gardening but also introduces themes of remembrance, growth and care.

The Ramsey in Bloom 2025 Competition is officially open for entries – and we want to see your best blooms. Application forms for the main Competition are available from the Town Hall & Library and can also be downloaded here:

The "Poppy Packs" are free, and include an application form, poppy seeds, a Remembrance 2025 poppy art project and colouring in pages.
Also included in the application pack is a VE Day poster to get creative with, which will then be put on display to mark the 80th Anniversary on 8th May, 2025.
