Ramsey Town Commissioners to open Community Warm Space

Ramsey Town Commissioners will open Ramsey Library as a Community Warm Space between 4.30pm and 6.30pm on Monday and Thursday evenings with effect from Monday 21^st November 2022.

This initiative is being done with the support of the Community Warm Spaces Fund administered by the Manx Lottery Trust.

Juan McGuinness, Lead Member for Finance, commented:

"The Ramsey Town Commissioners Library has always served as a great community space and thanks to the Warm Spaces Fund it's allowed us to extend the hours of operation into early evening on complimentary nights to when the Northern Local Authority Swimming Pool is providing warm space services. This collaborative approach provides options every early evening in the north for residents to seek physical or mental stimulation in a warm and welcoming environment."
