PETITION TO DEPARTMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURE

The Ramsey Town Commissioners have submitted a petition seeking the approval of the Department of Infrastructure:-

 

Under Section 51 of the Local Government Act 1985 to borrow a sum not exceeding £403,767.00, repayable within 30 years, to defray the cost of refurbishment work on 47 – 59 Upper Queens Pier Road, Ramsey (odd numbers only).

 

The work on the seven properties include refurbishment on the render, chimneys, roof, windows, fascia, soffit and rainwater goods and bathroom replacements and will assist the Commission in maintaining its public sector housing stock to a good standard.

The petition will be considered by the Department of Infrastructure and any views on the proposal should be submitted to the Petitions’ Officer, Local Government Unit, Management Services Division, Department of Infrastructure, Sea Terminal Building, Douglas, IM1 2RF, no later than noon on Friday 19th April, 2019.
